Welcome to the homepage of Transmitter: Journal for Undergraduate Social Science Research. Homed at the University of Derby, this is an open source journal for, and mostly by, undergraduate students in the social sciences. Transmitter: Journal of Undergraduate Social Science Research. Primarily aimed at students in sociology and criminology – or those whose work falls within the themes and methodologies these disciplines suggest – it will be open to all undergraduate students at institutions of Higher Education and British FE colleges and Sixth Form centres.
